Stellar Orbit Demo

Mine deeper than your fuel can carry you, while solar flares scramble your instruments.

Stellar Orbit is a single-player, top-down mining-survival game. Fly out from your station into a belt of asteroids, tear ore from the rock with the same laser and rockets you use to fight off pirates, then haul it home to sell and upgrade. The catch: the richest ore and the worst danger both lie farthest out, your fuel drains as you fly, and there is no refuelling in the belt. Push your luck, but dock before you run dry, or it is a hard game over.

HOW IT PLAYS

• Pilot a top-down ship out from your home station into an asteroid belt.
• Your weapons are your mining tools: the laser and rockets that fight pirates also break ore.
• Ore gets richer, and enemies deadlier, the farther out you push.
• Fuel drains as you fly and cannot be refilled in the belt, so dock before you run dry.
• Sell your haul, upgrade your ship and guns, then dive deeper. Every run is scored.

THE DEMO

• Mine the full Korrath belt, fight the raiders, and ride out the solar flares.
• Demo includes  the first map with rewards for longer run mode and a ship. 
• Scored on how rich, how deep, and how long you last.

IN THE FULL GAME

• Seven worlds, from a safe outer belt to a dying star, each with its own ore and signature hazard.
• Seven ships, each with its own stats, a passive perk, and an active ability.
• Upgrade your shield, engine, fuel tank, and cargo hold, and tune your laser and rockets in the Weapon Lab.
• A run-based score chase with permanent unlocks that carry between runs.
